Blair Drummond Safari Park
Blair Drummond Safari Park, situated close to Stirling, welcomed its first visitors on 15th May 1970. Spanning a 120-acre estate, it houses more than 350 animals, with many freely roaming or residing in spacious enclosures.
Stirling Distillery
Opened in 2019, Stirling Distillery produces Stirling Gin. Founded by June and Cameron McCann, it reflects Stirlingshire’s landscape with locally foraged nettles and basil. Guided tours include cocktail making, history insights, and tastings. Whisky production was also launched in 2023.
Briarlands Farm
The Falkirk Wheel
The Falkirk Wheel, located in Falkirk, is a unique rotating boat lift. It links the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal, restoring their connection for the first time since the 1930s. It was unveiled in 2002 as part of the Millennium Link project.
The Kelpies
The Kelpies, colossal steel horse-head sculptures, loom near Falkirk and Grangemouth. Positioned by the M9 motorway, they mark the eastern entrance to the Forth and Clyde Canal, where it converges with the River Carron. Rising 30 metres tall, they are awe-inspiring landmarks.
Loch Katrine Steamboat
Embark on a cruise on Loch Katrine aboard the Steamship Sir Walter Scott. At Trossachs Pier, enjoy bike hire, a cafe, shop, motorhome pitches, and Eco Lodges, offering a delightful experience amidst Scotland’s natural beauty.
